No Deal: Is it ALLO Fiber or ALLO Fibber? ALLO Fiber has told officials in Boulder, Colo., that it will halt its planned citywide fiber‑optic buildout, blaming rising costs and shifting market conditions. “These unforeseen developments have created an environment in which ALLO cannot successfully complete the project,” said ALLO General Counsel Andrew Vinton in a July 10 email to the city. A year ago, ALLO cut its workforce by about 10% in a matter of weeks, citing a cash crunch and Trump administration changes to the BEAD program. (More after paywall)
