Disney: Round One goes to FCC Chairman Brendan Carr. A federal judge in Washington has rejected Disney’s bid for an expedited hearing in its lawsuit challenging the FCC’s early license review of eight ABC stations. U.S. District Judge Loren AliKhan on Aug. 20 denied the company’s request to hold a hearing by Tuesday on its motion for a temporary restraining order, agreeing with the government that an urgent session was unnecessary.
