Breezeline: On Friday, Breezeline's Leadership webpage defaulted to an About section, raising questions about who was left in the C-Suite in Quincy, Mass., as a result of parent Cogeco's announced shakeup in May. Based in Montreal, Cogeco bought Breezeline (then called Atlantic Broadband) for $1.36 billion in 2012. (Breezeline ended the second quarter with 655,330 broadband subs, down 7,897 sequentially.) In a cross-border reorganization, Breezeline President Frank van der Post left the company and was replaced by Sean Brushett, who was named Chief Operating Officer for the entire company and put in charge of call centers, field operations, facilities, and supply chains across Canada and the U.S. Many top Breezeline officials spent their last day on Friday ahead of the Sept. 1 official transition date, Policyband was told.
