Update: Chris Ruddy said Tuesday he’s on good terms with his old pal President Trump. “President has no problem with me or Newsmax, I was with him Saturday night,” Ruddy said in an email to Policyband Tuesday. “Would have been nice to check with me on your story.” Ruddy was reacting to Tuesday’s top story in Policyband titled Does Chris Ruddy Now Have a POTUS Problem? Policyband gave up on Ruddy months ago after he and others within his organization would not respond to emails seeking comment on such things as his vocal opposition to the Nexstar-TEGNA merger. A reply to Ruddy’s email Tuesday came back as blocked, meaning he never saw it. (More after paywall)
