State Drones: Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr, a Republican running for Governor, is serious: He is going to shoot down drones in the act of dropping contraband items like drugs, weapons, and cell phones into state prisons. And he’s not waiting for the Trump White House to endorse his plan. Carr revealed his aggressive stance Thursday in a short video posted on YouTube. The Republican was accompanied by Grady County Sheriff Earl Prince, who has endorsed Carr for Governor. In the clip, Carr and Prince agreed as to the the public safety risks posed by drone drops and to the most practical solution: “Shoot 'em down!” Carr exclaims. (More after paywall)
