D.C. Memo: Nexstar Signs Conservative Star Katie Pavlich to Anchor NewsNation Prime Time Show
Pavlich, author and Fox News regular, will host a one-hour program airing weekdays at 10 p.m. ET starting in January. Hire disrupts Newsmax's description of Nexstar as a liberal news organization.

Nexstar: According to Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy, Nexstar Media Group is a liberal news organization because it gives a Democrat like Chris Cuomo a prime time show on NewsNation, Nexstar’s 24/4 cable news channel. That narrative changed yesterday when Nexstar announced that it had hired conservative star Katie Pavlich to anchor her own one-hour prime time show starting in January, roughly coinciding with the one-year anniversary of the start of President Trump’s second term. “Katie is a seasoned journalist and commentator, and we believe her unique voice will be a tremendous asset to our prime time audience,” said Sean Compton, President of Nexstar Networks.
